Course Overview

Morning-time challenges are common for families. Frustrations can run high for both parents and kids. There is a lot to accomplish in a short amount of time. Kids often need help with their morning routines such as getting out of bed, dressing, eating, etc., while parents have to make sure that they themselves are ready for the day. Mrs. Allison, occupational therapist and co-owner of Pediatric Therapy and Learning Center, has created a course that provides a thorough and comprehensive guide to maximize your time and minimize you and your child’s frustrations. This guide will give you strategies, tips and suggested materials and resources to help smooth out the rough edges of your mornings. These strategies can be used to help your child be more independent in the morning or at least become more cooperative as you help them through each step of getting ready.  Parents and caregivers are also likely to find that these strategies can be helpful for other daily routines and activities.

Module 1 covers tips and tricks on how to help yourself get ready, how to use developmentally-appropriate morning schedules for your kids, and how to help all kids keep track of  time so that everyone can get out of the door and get their day off to a good start.  This module gives you access to our pre-made PRINTABLE SCHEDULES and other resources.

Modules 2 and 3 are coming soon and will be sold separately. They will help modify other aspects of the morning routine for children with specific sensitivities or regulatory challenges.
